You may be wondering what Tamanend Park has to do with the Atlantic Ocean. Well, we have a stream running through the park. This is considered an inland waterway and the water in it eventually reaches the ocean bringing along with it polluted runoff to become marine debris. The health of all our rivers, streams, tributaries and lakes, and eventually the ocean depends on the efforts of all our citizens.
